First Principles Approaches

Physics and mathematics are at the heart of the natural world's description by the scientific enterprise. A complex adaptive system, the global scientific endeavor is an entity that, like an emergent mind coming from brain cells, is greater than the sum of its parts. Transportation links are parts of a system that connects businesses, rivers in jungles spread nutrients, and arteries oxygenate tissues and organs. Scale invariant laws, unified field theories, global research, and a less complicated standard model will benefit mankind in the paradigm of efficiency. In practical economic terms, part of General Physics' philosophy, efficiency is something that Marx and Smith would agree to build as a first principle approach in economic theory. Additionally, least action geodesics and paths minimizing energy are physical first principles. There is an underlying elegance to the universe. Scholars from Newton to Dirac have attempted to describe the universe with mathematics and mathematicians have sought to find patterns that are useful. This is getting too complicated. What all this means is that there is a simplified Higgs particle unifying the standard model, a unified amplitude field describing the forces, and a connection between quantum and relativity.
